im 20 f and i notice i keep having blackouts and sudden weakness that makes me always want to faint but i would always manage to grab hold of something and recover within 30 seconds or more. difficulty in sleeping eventhough im really tired, sudden loss and also sudden gain in appetite(could happen any day..), loss of concentration, fast heart beats (frequent), headaches, nauseas, fatigues. i have always been a healthy child and had very rarely fallen sick in the past. but my problem has been going on for a month or so. im studying abroad and now in my final year..inspite of all these problems, i do not stress myself with the workloads as i like to take things easy and i do not worry much. so i do not know what is my problem. i am not pale and do not face shortness of breath so i dont think im anemic. plus when my appetite happens to be voracious, id eat as much veg and fruits as i can. i do not drink canned sodas or eat junkfoods or take any medication. please help. thank you!

Sounds like a heart condition.

I'm a cardiac nurse.

Please see you doctor to get a referral to a cardiologist.

There is only one thing TO do with that collection of symptons, which absolutely nobody in Q & A could possibily diagnose See a doctor for a thorough checkup, and have some tests run. The longer you avoid doing this, the harder (maybe even impossible) to fix when the cause is discovered. The last thing you ever want to hear a doctor say to you is "It's a shame you didn't come to see me sooner. Now you have a REAL problem"
I can say one thing though, I am leaning towards the possibility that you could have an over-active thyroid, which would certainly be something that needs urgent attention.

Hi there,

I'd suggest you go get checked out asap. It really could be a number of things, but considering the types of symptoms and the amount of symptoms it might be a good idea to get a professional opinion as to what's going on in your body. Make sure you write down all of your symptoms before you go to the doctor, so you have them all on hand when they ask. This way you give them all of the information they need without forgetting anything. Most likely they'll run a few tests and probably draw some blood. Even if it is nothing serious, it's better to get it checked out and be safe rather than sorry. Good luck, and take care!! :)

It could be diabetes. you should def go to the doctor. It sounds like your blood sugar is very low. When you feel like that try eating a candly like sour patch kids or something. I once had the same exact symptoms and almost passed out in the grocery store, I happened to be in the candy isle and ripped open a pack of sour patch kids, ate the whole pack and then felt better (that probably wasnt the healthiest move but it helped for that moment), but you should go to the doctor

You might have a sleep disorder called sleep apnea.
Also could be overactive thyroid or underactive thyroid.
I would suggest that you see a doctor.
