I better know... i posted the article about it where i play literati :-)
1320 is the highest total game score ever.
the same game had the highest single word score in a game; 365 for quixotry on a triple triple.
and the highest score by a single player, 830.
It just happened this past october in a unitarian church in lexington mass. i don't remember their first names but it's Yorra-Cresta. Cresta won.
The most amazing thing to me is that neither of the men, nor apparently the official Scrabble world itself considers either one of these guys experts!!!

I think the highest Scrabble score is 830.

I aint sure but there was a funny sketch on TV recently regarding high words in scrabble. A guy said his mate put down the highest scoring word possible 'Squeezy' and was all smug. He said he wasn't laughing though when he had easypeazylemon as his letters! lol

If several inflections of words are used the score could be high maybe 830. It's hard not to cheat when someone gives you the answer on a plate. I wish I could spell more 13 letter words.

ummm im not a big scrabble player so i really dont no what the points are but dont laugh im guessing so it might be really big or really small im guessing 1250
