I would talk to your doctor about your concern. They may just want you to take several short walking breaks throughout the day. My doctors went ahead and put me on leave when I was 36 weeks with my 2nd. They even induced me not quite a week early. Also, make sure you drink plenty of water. I think it's pretty normal to feel tired toward the end of your pregnancy. If you can, I would try to stick it out as long as you could though. You don't really want to go on bedrest.

Congrats on baby no 2! I'm a workaholic and found the stress was exhausting me... My boss ended up 'firing me' because he said I wasn't as appealing in maternity clothes and that the every 2 week Dr's appts were beginning to bother business (I was the office manager) - At first I was really mad & hurt, now I'm bored!!!! I got laid off about 1 1/2 mos ago, the rest is awesome but I've got nothing to keep me busy... I just wait... wait.... wait... for this baby!!! AH! You're pretty close to your last day... If you can wait it out, I would!

If you are that uncomfortable and want bed rest just ask your doctor. I got off early for bed rest even though I really didn't need it but my job required me to be on my feet 9 to 12 hrs a day so my feet hurt so bad I could hardly stand. Just talk to your doctor.

Well, I'm pretty sure if you needed to be on bed rest your doctor would have done that. I think you might be able to finish work until Jan. 12th. But good luck and I wish you the best.

Go ask your doctor what she or he thinks. Mine put me on house arrest because of pre term labor. I dont think you are being a big baby. You have reason to be tired the baby is almost here and you get more tired just like in the first trimester. Take it easy is all i can say and talk to your doctor.

Well thats because the baby is right near your lungs... You don't need bedrest and of course your tired your pregnant! and staring and answering phones all the time would make me tired to.
I would say if your really worried about it ask your doctor or mid-wife what you should do or if they are worried about you having such a hard time.

Take to your employer about taking early maternity leave. Then talk to your doctor and tell them you would prefer to be at home, because you can not do your job to the fulliest ability, they should right a note to your employer about either putting you on light duty or maternity leave. You have to talk to your doctor about the way you feel and how it affects you.

I had the same problem with my 1st child(my son)
I sleeped sitting up with lots of pillows around me. I was also working and I had to put up my foot because it would get swollen. I had to take tums for heartburn. Have you tried yoga? It helps to relax. good luck girl. every pregnancy is different.
