How do you dial by letter on the samsung blackjack? for example if you want to dial 1-800-cingular how do you get eh phone to recognize that "c" is the number 2, etc?

I had this same problem a couple days ago. You just have to know what letter is on each number. I was sitting there counting (because I know the 2 starts with a, b, c... ) so it took me forever sitting there singing my alphabet as i counted on the numbers. i'm sure i looked ridiculous. I guess it would have been easier to get another phone and look at the numbers. Good luck

No phone knows that, its just because the letters are usually printed on the keypad that you can "dial by letter".
