none of my other games ever has a problem and the disc is not scratched or smuged

I Love the Sims also, but I think the Sim's games are so big that they all mess up. Mine messes up for xbox, pc, and psp. I think it any sims game you will get.

tell the place you got it from that it is messing yo ps2and thay will give you a new one

try cleaning it in a disk cleaner, if I evr have probs that is what i do so good luck.
