We have D-link modem DFM-560E since 2001 and its original drivers are meant for only Window 98.

Now we want it to install in Window XP.

Why did you fail getting the drivers from dlink? since this product was not distributed in the US you will have to goto your countries dlink site to download this.....

I found this for you at the following website (the website also appears to have the W98 drivers for you to make this happen)

http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=23284

According to a users comments here, you should be able to make these work for Windows XP as well. Follow the instructions posted:

Uploader Notes
Win 9x drivers for D-Link DFM-560E modem. Unzip to a temp folder and you will have a zip driver file and a pdf file that contain instructions on how to install the drivers. Then unzip the win9x.zip file that contains the drivers.

Hope this helps. :)
