I have this friend who i've gotten really close to this past year we've had our ups and downs and all arounds, but she 'seemed' to be the best friend i've never had. I used to tell her everything...from who my latest crush is to who my new darkest enemy will be...but now we've moved on to 8th grade and we have no classes together, not even lunch, no electives, and she moved to a different subdivision. So now i never really get a chance to see her anymore. But it isn't really that which is bugging me most. It's that when i'll walk past her in the hallways or i'll ride over to her house...it's almost like i don't even exist. I'll be like, "Hey, what up?" or "How's it going, Courtney..." but she still won't respond. I know for a fact that she's avoiding me. I've done my own little background checks on all of her friends, but nobody seems to be influencing her to act this way. I have other friends and i know that i should probably move on and do what's best for me...but how?

It can be very difficult to let go of a good friend. However, I wouldn't let the friendship go without confronting her. Be honest with her, tell her you consider her a close friend but you've felt a distance, like perhaps she doesn't wish to be friends any longer. At this point you have nothing to lose, but at least you'll know where you stand. Good luck.

Well it would appear that she is not a true friends if she is avoiding you like this. I had a similar situation back in high school. Me and this girl had been buds since middle school and always chilled together. Once we got to high school it seems like I got the cold should for no apparent reason. I just said to myself that if thats how she wants to act then she must have not been a true friend in the first place. My advice to you would be just move on and forget her.

First of all I must congratulate you on your grammar it is excellent for a teenager. Now this is part of growing up you meet new people and you grow apart from others, It's all part of life no need to get all paranoid, and hire an investigator to find out why your friend won't talk to you. Good luck

i know how this feels. i am kinda going through this problem myself now. my one friend and me only have 1 class together and we never talk at all or anything but we never really said i hate you or anything. so i dont know whats up with that. for your problem i think what you should do is invite her over to your house or try to do something that both of you enjoy and just talk to her like how do you like school? and just start conversations. i think if she doesnt like you at all she wont come do something with you.

hope this helps!

SOUNDS LIKE IT'S TIME TO LET HER GO. FRIENDS COME AND GO IN OUR LIVES AS THINGS, SCHOOL, WHERE WE LIVE, ECT CHANGE.
