i am at the elevator at the begginning. actually, right past that where theren is steamso i cant go anywhere. does anyone know a walkthrough i could use, or at least help to get out of here??

I've searched for walkthroughs and haven't found any yet.
You didn't specify which level you were on. The first two levels don't have steam by the elevator. Level three has a pipe with steam to the left behind the glass partition. To get past it, have Cody hit the dog with a pie three times for it to disappear. Then have Cody go behind the partition and stand under the moving platform. Make sure the negative fan button is pressed and then push the "up" fan button hold until the platform comes down and Cody rides until it stops. Climb the ladder and follow the platforms until you find the red button, then push it. This turns off the steaming pipe and Zack can now jump up there (with the help of Cody) and get the disguise to get past hotel security.
Level 4 also has steam to the left of the elevator. To get past this one have Zack go left until an arrow appears above his head , press the up button to have him change course and then climb the ladder and press the red button to stop the steaming pipe. Any level past that I haven't gotten there yet sorry.
