I totally think it sucks, but it is yahoo's policy, its their site, so get with it! What I think that yahoo should do though is to remove the disincentive of loosing points when one ask a question. Come on, you loose points when you ask a question? If people do not ask question there will be no questions to answer. I do not want to loose my points so I ask fewer questions. That is not good.

So that newbies don't abuse the system by asking pointless questions. Its limited until you've got to a new level. Hopefully by then most of the newbies with pointless questions have got tired of YA.

I don't know the answer beyond it being 'one of the rules.' However, when you climb further up the ladder of 'Levels,' then (I think I read it correctly) you get to do more here (you can even include your party tricks, impersonations and strut your Karaoke stuff too ~ though you must provide your own nibbles and drinks.... sigh!).

Hope this helps!

It's really annoying when they tell you you've reached your limit for the day. It's fun answering questions on here!

Because Yahoo says so. It's their site, so they get to make the rules. Move up in levels, and the restrictions go away.

Go to your profiles page and click on the little green square close to your points total. Then read it.
