I have reserved a vacation rental in Phoenix, oiff Shea Blvd, right next to the 51. Is this a good neighborhood? I mistakenly booked us in a hotel on the seedier part of town last year and would like to avoid the same mistake.

Thanks

Agree this is a solid area in North Phoenix. Paradise Valley Mall is about a mile a way and you can take a nice hike at nearby ( 1.5 miles) Dreamy Draw Park (east of Northern Ave off the 51). Easy and conveninet drive east into Scottsdale. You'll be A-OK staying here!

Yeah, that area is pretty descent. It sure is better than staying in downtown Phoenix. You should really be safe there, and it's by almost everything you need too! I think there is even some model homes to look at.
