You are probably running into a buffer underrun condition. That is when the PC's processor, memory or hard drive can't keep up with the burning process. There are several things to try:
- Select a slower burn speed in your DVD burning software. If the rate is set at 8X, try 4X. If 4X, try 2X, etc.
- If you are working from a file on an external drive, try moving the rendering process to an internal drive. The transfer rate is much faster on an internal drive
- Or, if using an external drive, and your system has both USB1.0 and 2.0 ports, make sure you are using the 2.0 USB port.

Are the videos too large for the disks? Normally even though the disks are 4.7GB you can really only fit about 4.58 GB. Depending on the software sometimes less.

Also keep in mind that some software programs use the length (time) of the video as well. You can generally fit about 60 minutes of high quality video on a 4.7GB disk. High quality meaning 1MB for 1 second of video.
