I want to know how many think it's real. I got intrested but that's as far as it went just an intrest... I don't think that spells can be cast or ne thing like that. I wish they were real lol! So I'm intrested to see how people feel about this. It's a very common question but I don't know how much it's asked... SO enjoy.

Yes, I believe in witchcraft and magick. You're right that spells can't be cast like on television--no teleportation, no levitation, etc. But magick does work... it just has to work by "Natural Means." That means if you do a spell for a car, it's unlikely you'll wake up the next morning with a car in front of your house. It's also unlikely you'll suddenly win a drawing for a car (though that's more possible). Instead, you may find out that your neighbor is selling their car for cheap, or you may get an opportunity to work a few extra hours a week--just enough to make a car payment. See? Your spell worked, in that you got a car. But it worked by natural means. A spell to lose weight will help you stick to your diet (and help you project yourself as a good-looking, confident person, even at the weight you are). A spell for more money will often bring money making opportunities to you, instead of just the money itself (although you may also get rebate checks you forgot about, or find out that a utility overcharged you and is returning the extra). Blessed be!

Yes I do. The deffinition of a witch would be someone that can bend or shape. That could mean bending and shaping of reality, themselves, the world around them, ect. If you go by that definition everyone is a witch to some extent. Are spells real? That depends on how much energy and intent you put behind them. Are fears real? Is anger real? Yes... they are both strong forms of energy, just as any other feeling. What about will power? Will power is real. So if you will something to exist in just the right mind set... yeah I think a spell could happen. Don't you?

I am Wiccan, sometimes called Pagan. I attend local chapter meetings. Basically, it's a pre-christian belief. You respect the four seasons, various stages of the moon, animal and plant life and the four elements - earth, water, fire, air.

A typical get together: We might choose a local state park. Pick a secluded area. Cast the circle. Invoke the gods and goddesses. Sing/chant as you might pray or sing in a Christian church. We close the circle. And then feast. Everyone brings a covered dish.

There is no Jesus. There is no devil. We enjoy one another's company. We might "cast" spells . For example I am casting a spell which will help my sister find a job. In a christian religion that would be a prayer. I might have a good luck crystal or charm as a christian would have a rosary or crucifix. We wish no one evil - it will come back on you. It serves as a social group and we support one another. We have retreats and we learn and teach about the healing qualities of herbs and "hands on" healing techniques. We have steam huts to cleanse and purify our bodies and minds. It's a holistic thought system.

Yes I believe because I myself and a Witch. However, storybooks, television, Hollywood and folk tales have really done their part on misinforming the public on what Witchcraft is. No, we cannot floy on brooms (that sure would take care of my problem with high gas prices, lol). No we don't wave a magic wand and turn someone's hair green. No, we don't battle demons and travel through time. www.witchvox.com is a good website. Check it out.

Blessed be.

I believe it is very real because I am a practicing Wiccan (the religion associated mostly with witchcraft). It is nothing like TV, movies, and fantasy books would have you think. Magick (spelled with a 'k' on purpose) is akin to pray but instead of relying on the whims of a external Deity, it relies on the power of the individual.

I'm kind of skeptical myself (my wife is a pagan, but apparently her stuff ain't workin' cause I'm still married to her???).

For example, one of the poster's said that if you cast a spell, it will come back to you 10 fold. Now that would assume you cast a bad spell. I may want to cast a spell, that someone I know will get $100,000. Then I'll be a millionaire!!

definite i think in Witchcraft. the difficulty is that maximum individuals do no longer understand what actual Witchcraft is or has consistently been. maximum individuals anticipate outcomes like they see on television or learn in fictional books... or anticipate all this devil and demon stuff the Christians have invented. certainty is, actual Witchcraft has by no skill been like that. Witchcraft would not go against the guidelines of physics. it can not do each thing for you on the twitch of a nostril. it truly is not prompt gratification. it can not do your paintings for you, besides the undeniable fact that it may help do your paintings. actual Witchcraft is meditating on your objectives and then working for them. actual Witchcraft is making an organic tea for a sore throat, or meditating on an orange candle to pass a try, or burning lavender to loosen up your self on the top of a protracted day or burning rosemary to inspire your self to get your initiatives accomplished.

I am also Wiccan. Wiccan's embrace nature and consider the impact of the elements. Just like any other religion we have different beliefs and pratices. Some are solitaries (practice alone) others prefer to worship with others.
