I want to buy a dress and I wear a size small to a medium. The thing about it is they only have a size large available. I have looked all over the web and they are out of stock, but I really want this dress.

have it tailored...
at a gown shop.. i should be about 20 bucks and wont ruin your dress

i don't think you can....maybe you should get someone who deals with clothes to bring the dress in for you (altar it) a bit like at the side under your armpit so no one can see. I also have a dress that is too big for me and my mum is going to altar it to fit my size i feel your pain.

If you try to wash and dry it, and it is not a washable garment you may ruin it. I would go to a reputable tailor and have it sized for you.

ask around for a seamstress or tailor. they should be able to take the dress in a little so that it will fit you better.
