it's deep red and carpet is beige... how do i get it out? an ideas?

Do you mean nail polish? Cause I don't know of any remover that is deep red. If it is nail polish and the carpet is a natural fiber, you can use remover to get it out. Use a non-acetone one to be safe, just rub with a clean towel soaked in remover to get the most out, then soak the spot and blot to get the rest. Nasty job, though! Good luck!

If you meant nail polish then you can used remover to get it out. Make sure you test it in an area that is unseen first to make sure it doesn't fade the carpet. If you actually meant remover then take a dry rag to soak up the extra remover. Then take a wet rag to wash the carpet. This will help with the smell by diluting the remover
