In high school this stupid short punk would pick on me and the only reason I was afraid to fight back was because he was the ringleader for a bunch of other hoodlums who were bigger than he was, and I didn't have many friends at the time. That was long ago but I was wondering, has anyone had to deal with belligerent short guys who are so obviously insecure that they have to bully others to make themselves feel good? Also I want to clarify that I'm not talking about ALL short guys, I know some that are good, decent people as well.

I had a boss who fit that description to a T.
(Charlie...I still know you're out there!)

If the little runt has any kind of pull...stay the hell away from them.

Mean, angry, little people that they are!

My family is pretty tall. Well, my brother has a friend who is pretty short, shorter than myself. Whenever he would have a hissy-fit we would joke around with him that he has little-man syndrome, but it was always a joke.

I think we all have had to deal with "little man complex"...Big man complex"..."the Bully"...etc.

The wonderful thing is learner to respond to the various personalities we will come in contact with, and not react.

The wise person responds...the moron reacts. So actually we learn more, and become wiser, happier, people.

I would have stood up for myself- you will see that his "friends" aren't gonna be quick to step in if you insist that it is you and him- If he can dish it- he needs to be able to back it up.
