No, but then I don't live in Ontario....I'm opposed to gay marriage because I believe it is unnatural and is a threat to the traditional marriage stance of a man and a woman.

I don't get why so many people are so against gay marriage.
one argument is that gay couples can have a ceremony, the marriage just wouldn't be recognized by law.. the problem with that is that you have to be legally married in order to share an insurance policy, you have to be legally married to file taxes jointly, and you have to be legally married to adopt a child together.
why can't gay couples get married? what is the issue? is it the fact that they can't procreate? if so.. there are so many children in foster homes and adoption agencies that this should actually be looked upon as a good thing, a child can be accepted into a loving home with 2 parents regardless of whether they are both male or both female, the child will grow up loved instead of being thrown away by the system.
gay marriage shouldn't be looked at as being such a detriment to society, but as a solution for overcrowding foster care and adoption facilities because of all the straight couples that decided they didn't want their kids for whatever reason.

I have no problem with it. It doesn't hurt anyone else.
And for those who say it threatens traditional marriage...so does adultry, domestic violece, the acceptance of sex before marriage, etc...those things have nothing to do with 2 people of the same sex getting married.

Absolutely, if a gay couple wants to get married why not? Is it hurting you? Or just offensive to you? I can't imagine that it makes a huge difference if the gay couple that lives across the street is married or not, they aren't changing what they do.

Yes, everyone should have the right to marry whom they want to unless they or the person was under leagal age, then I would have a problem with that.

Why would I NOT support two people being happy and wanting to share the benefits of being married?
Seems pretty prejudiced if you ask me.

Absolutely. I'm surprised there hasn't been more fighting over it in America; what happened to "all men are created equal?"
