You can drill the center for an easy out, but my experience with the smaller easy outs has not been that great. If the head is exposed to where you can get a small pair if vice grips on it that that can work. If all else fails use a dremel to make a horizontal cut across the top of the bolt and use a flat bladed screw diver and vice grips to remove it.

If you cannot get a set of GOOD quality vice-grips on there, get some left hand drill bits. Start with one smaller then the allen head, centered and slowly start to drill with drill on reverse. as the bit bites in and catches this will usually get the bolt out.
Careful not to go so deep or big that you break the head off the screw. Then you have to mess with easy outs or worse.

You use a tool called an E-Z Out. You will get a set of different sized 6 sided tools with teeth on the corners. Choose one slightly larger than the opening on the allen head bolt and tap it in with a hammer. use a wrench to turn the tool (the teeth will grab the inside of the bolt) and your bolt comes out easily.

got to drill it out, just drill a small pilot hloe then select a larger drill bit and drill away untill the head pops off, then remove with pliers....or get another allen key larger then the stripped on, hit it in with a hammer to make it fit and slowly twist loose

You could try a drill, though it may damage the componant you are trying to remove the bolt from. Seems like there is something though... Try calling a hardware store or an auto parts store and asking them.

Go to walmart and in the hardware section there are some 'easy out' drill bits. Use them or use a dremel to cut a lateral slice across the head so you can use a plain screw driver to take it out.

You can either use bolt out, a tool for removing stripped bolts, or use a drill bit and drill hole, then use screw or bolt extractor.

i own a repair shop, and i see this a lot ,if you can get to it to get a hold of it with a good pair of vise grips you can get it out that way,,other wise if its real tight you may have to drive a large screw driver in to it,and turn it out this way,,you cant use a left hand bit on it because it will be tight in there,i have had to weld another bolt on to them to get them off before,,this is one true way to get them out,,,there hard to get out when there stripped out like that,,good luck with it,hope this help,s.happy new years.

Hammer a smaller flat head screw driver into the stripped head, push or lean down on it as hard as you can, lock vise grips on screwdriver shaft and twist left, while pushing down on the screwdriver as hard as you can.
