When was Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video filmed?

I know it was _released_ in December of 1983, and I know it was filmed by John Landis, but can anybody tell me on what date, or at least in what month, it was filmed?

I cannot find it without subscribing to imdb pro. Optimum productions was the production company, and it was filmed at the Rialto Theatre in South Pasadena. Given post production requirements it was probably filmed in June-July.

The "Thriller" video premiered on MTV exactly a year and a day after the album's release: December 2, 1983.
