These are two available types of Centrino based processors.
Speed is relative to the respective model.

Actual performance is more a result of the CPU architectural differences.

The fundamental architecture difference between the two lies in the greater amount of onbaord cache (hence greater performance) found in the Core2Duo models.

Yes,there are the big difference in FSB
centrino duo processor having 800 FSB
and core 2 duo having near about 1500 FSB
so definitely their is a difference in the data processing and cost.

Centrinos are designed for laptops more than desktops (core duo's better)
