It shouldn't since it's not related to Religion, like Merry Christmas. It makes no sense what so ever to be offended by "words". Why do so many people put so much into "words"? Anyone can call me anything or say anything to me or about me and it will not offend me. As long as I know in my heart what's true, why should any "words" offend me?? I wish people would get over it! I'm offended by stupid people that are offend by mere "words"!

No, unlike the republicans, that are offended when Merry Christmas is used at the White House, in fear it may send the wrong signal to some terriost group

I don't know about that, but they do seem to get bent out of shape when you prove to them that they are wrong. The problem with liberalism is that it is born of emotion and not reason. Conservatism is thought where as Liberalism is felt, therefore liberals tend to get lost in specious, circular arguments and if you let them try to argue their points long enough they will ultimately contradict themselves.

I wouldn't doubt it. I mean, anyone who can protest against going to war with Al Qaida after they flew planes into the World Trade center and the Pentagon has got problems. My girlfriend's best friend is Liberal, and she once told me this country would be better off if communism was allowed here. I told her, "unless you've lived under communism, you don't have a clue what you are talking about". She didn't like that very much, but just like most Liberals, she wasn't making any sense.
