Does anyone know a cool vocab word I could use as my word of the day? (the definition would be nice too!) :)

Kathy M has suggested a good word. Unfortunately, she is spelling it incorrectly. The word she wants is "onomatopoeia." It derives from the Greek "onoma" which means name and "poiein" meaning to make.

Here are two words I can suggest:

1. peregrinate - to travel from place to place

2. perambulate - to walk through, to stroll, to roam

Don't limit yourself to just a new word today. If you want a new word every day, here's a website I can suggest:

doctordictionary.com

You can enroll in this service (free of charge when I enrolled), and a new word or phrase will be e-mailed to you each morning. They are both educational and at times hilarious.

I always find the word "vestibule" to be a good standby, you never know when it's going to come in handy, it's also got a certain "woody" feel about it.
