if one was so interested in making money, they should invest the time in learning to read...

but some construction jobs do pay pretty well...as the person above me has said

Perhaps the person can be a sports star or entertainer. Most jobs for illiterate folks are hard manual labor such as construction, agriculture and meat production.

The only thing I can think of is construction work, My dad was illiterate and he made great money doing that.

Unless that person goes for a life of crime they are pretty much SOL. You do not get rich digging ditches or picking cotton
