I never could understand why the WWE was dumb enough to fire her. Not only is she incredibly hot, she had a great attitude that everyone liked (or drooled over), and she was actually becoming a decent wrestler, plus that split thing she did sealed the deal :). So does anyone know?

(from magazine word-for-word): "is there a trend here? wwe releasing 'Tough Enough' winner Daniel Puder and savin several hundred thousand dollards was October's 'Buisness Sotry of the Month.' In Decemeber, WWE released 'Diva Search' winner Christy Hemme, who seemed to be more a victim of the company's budget-cutting axe than a routin casuality of roster cuts.
Hemme so far and away the fave to win the 2004 'Diva Search' even before the pool was narrowed down to 10 contestants. With her athletic look and infectious enthusiasm, Hemme won over thousands of fans that voted for her on wwe.com. She made several mainstreams appearances for WWE, and even appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine. She moved from RAW to SD this past spring, and her role diminished considerably.
By the year's end, Hemme was spending considerable time in Ohio Valley, where she was honing her craft. Her last official WWE-contracted appearance occured at eh Dec. 3 taping of Ohio Valley Wrestling. There, she teamed with Mark Cappotelli to defeat Aaron Stevens, Beth Phoenix and Shelly Martinez in a three-on-two bout. Unfortunately, Mark Henry and Johnny Jeter marred her final appearance with WWE by pushing her aside and attackin Cappotelli.
Cynics were beginning to realize that 'Tough Enough' runner-ups, such as Cappotelli, were more likely to retain employment in WWE b/c they came at considerable less cost. The same was true of 'Diva Search' runner-ups. WWE saved well over $100,000 by releasing Hemme before the end of her four-year, $250,00 contract

I heard a rumour that Christy Hemme change right into a great flirt behind the scenes and apparently she began flirting with Triple H and Princess Stephy were given jealous and had her fired,yet allegations say it wasn't real,plus the WWE really assure Diva search for winners a 365 days settlement so perhaps they merely did not wanna keep her?

They did more like release..She was at the WWE to help the company out because in her opinion they were "not classy" She told the Legend Killer Randy Orton and some other superstars this. Well as the months kept going her and Orton had a legitement beef.Where he then poured tanning oil on her 8,000 louis voution bag anad then was fined 16,000...Later on WWE believed the superstars took Hemme into there office and said Trump's favorite words:YOUR FIRED!! true story it was in the wwe magazine with Trish Stratus on the cover it was a Orton interview

She wanted to be a good wrestler.
Vince hates women that can wrestle. They intimidate him. (ask ivory, molly holly, lita, gail kim, jackie gayda, jacquilyn, the list goes on)

She apparently got caught make comments about Triple H backstage and they let her go for that. I do agree she is smoking hot, and I wish they would have kept her.

It's cuz they couldn't pay her and she was in OVW training while everyone else was ok and around tht time. the company was citing budget cuts as the reason for her leaving. she never did anything wrong
