You can't stop yourself from getting hurt if you really care about someone. It's one of the risks you take/the price you pay for opening your heart. But it's better to risk getting hurt than to not care about anyone. Life would be more boring and less worthwhile that way.

Sorry but there are never any guaranties in life. You'll find out as you grow . Your young your heart will be broke a million times.
That just means you've outgrown each other and are at the next level.
We all start early. Remember the crush on a grade school friend, even nursery school. I bet your heart was broken than.
It is good to love . Do not close up in fear of being hurt. Believe it or not one day you'll meet that special person in your life and have a long happy life together.
Life is a journey and has many ups and downs. Jump aboard and enjoy.

Honey, please don't take this as rude, but stop being a victim.

Just be extra careful when picking out your friends and try not to get attached to people too quickly. Remember when you first meet someone they are on their BEST behavior. It only gets worse, so if someone is just OK when you first meet them a few months down the road they will probably be unbearable.. If you catch someone lying to someone else in front of you, thats a good sign that they lie to you too so cut them off also.

And don't get hurt, its not your fault that they are shady. Don't blame yourself. Its them not you. Be happy that it happened when it did and not after you invested years into the relationship.

I would like the know the same thing. I guess we need to stop putting yourself in the same position every time. Try to do things differently the next time in a relationship.

Stop getting emotionally involved with people who are not worth your time and effort, for one thing. Just because you love someone doesn't mean they feel the same for you. Stop getting played, simply.

There is nothing you can do. Just take your bumps and bruises like we all have to at some point in time. It's the price we pay to find that one true love. Man is there even such a thing?

make sure that the other person feels what you feel. remember "never give all your love or money" to anyone, do not let that person do what he wants you to do. if you give him everything you possible can he will live you, but let him work his way out, let him earn your trust. he has to have some obsticles on the way if not he be bored and looked for something else.
