I already have ideas but I just want to see what unique ideas you guys come up with. I don't want to miss anything that would be fun for him.

Take him out to dinner (at his favorite restaurant), buy his drinks (at his favorite bar/club), toast in the new year in a special way (maybe sneaking off somewhere...), and either cook him a special breakfast or take him out. Just make it a fun, carefree evening where he will be able to enjoy everything!
Alternatively, plan a big surprise for midnight! Maybe a special present, etc.
