and why has the Bush administration proposed listing them as threatened? If the global warming we're experiencing now is just another "cycle" why has even Bush's admin agreed to list them as threatened?

To captainobvious; You missed my point. Polar bears should be protected but if the Bush admin claims global warming is fake then why do they need protection? It's an obvious inconsistency in the bs they've been spewing...

Before everyone gets their dander up, remember that the ICE AGE and its eventual melting millions of years ago was not caused by humans.
Protecting the polar bears on their melting Arctic ice is the smart thing to do.

so your logic is that since weather patterns are cyclical and now the bears are running out of places to eat we should not worry about protecting them? But if its not cyclical then we should? that's a little self absorbed dont you think? only help things if you caused it......
