Staying home with wife and an amount of bubbly, at midnight watch the fireworks. The whole of Holland sets them off then, nice to see . Then watch Jools Hollands Hootanannie. " HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU," hubby and the cats.

Staying in with Janet and Boston The Border Collie, oh and a bottle of the amber nectar, Famous Grouse. Used to go out but it's just a bunch of drunks wretching all over the place. Last time was 1999.

I'm staying in this year, for the first time since the 1990s. Last year I tried one extreme (Times Square), so this year I will be going to the other extreme (playing Wii Bowling at home and then watching the countdown online, since I've done practically everything else on NYE).

We were invited to a family party, with adults and children. It sounds like a lot of fun, and only the boys went last year, but it is just as much for the adults. I love the idea of that, and its not too far from home, so not a lot of driving out with the weirdos. Happy 2007 to everyone!

We are cooking all kinds of seafood and getting a bunch to drink at home. It's just much safer today to stay home.
