Actually clowns buy rubber chickens, noses, wigs and such like. Idiots buy and put on straight pipes. When you wake up the cop trying to get a nap in, you get a ticket. Modifying from factor specs is ticketable in most states, so eventually they will get them off the road.

Ive had straight pipes when I was younger but have found as I matured that I would not give up the hp. for the noise. There are good pipes available that give a nice rumble slightly louder then stock which actually improve performance.

I ride with loud exhaust mainly so the fools in cars that claim they do not see me can hear me. I do not ride with straight pipes(not many people do anymore) but rather with Harley Davidson performance pipes. I guess it is riders preference as to how loud their bike is.
