As a teacher, the thing that makes me the most happy is when my students succeed. So if you're already a good student, then I'm sure they are very happy with you!

Some teachers have "favorites", and even though there are many other well behaved and intelligent students in the class, the teacher will always tell the class about how wonderful the "favorite" is. He or she will always pick that student to perform tasks, and there's really nothing the rest of us can do about it.
Then there are other teachers who favor all the well behaved students and the ones who turn in all of their work. They love gifts, but I doubt they will favor a student just because of a gift they received from that student. The way to make those teachers happy is simply to be a good student.
You can't do anything about a teacher who plays favorites and you are not one. However, you can continue being a good, responsible student. Give gifts, but don't do it as a bribe. Like I said, the best thing to do is just do be a good student (intelligent, kind, helpful, turn in your homework)
You can't please everyone... don't try.

I think if you simply show your teachers respect they will be happy. Gifts can be considered bribes and by your fellow students you could be considered a "suck up". I suggest you continue being a good student, have excellent attendance (that is a huge thing) and participate in class, which I am sure you do. If a particular teacher doesn't seem to like you perhaps it is simply a personality clash. Keep doing what you are doing, what matters is if you are learning, not how your teacher feels about you. Good luck.

Do your best but don't get so wrapped up in being their best friend. Try to relieve a little pressure from yourself by not expecting them to like you as long as you get the grades by doing your best (which looks like you are) then don't worry so much about if they like you or not. The only thing you want to avoid is them hating you, by being a big brown nose and suck up. I think they appreciate students that are themselves and just show respect for others, students and teachers alike.
Talking wth them as if they are real people and giving them a big thank you(note or present) at the end of the year or semester is probably all the more you need to do.

Don't try to create a system of favoritism, because if a teacher discovers that they have a favorite in the class, they may be concerned with themselves of treating students differently. I'm always very paranoid if I am giving more attention to one student or not just because I understand or am more on a "friend" basis with them.
If you want to be a good student overall, participate in class discussions, don't hold back any questions you have, and work well with other students around you.

I agree with everyone else, but you could also try being helpful in the classroom, find out if there's anything you can do to be helpful. Or a simple thank you gesture will do. Teachers are easy to please, if you do your homework, don't disrupt class, and participate in the lesson, that's usually good enough for them.
Teachers never really have a kid they think is the best student, just ones they think have more potential, but they would never admit that. Be happy with who you are, and your teacher will too.

Just be yourself and do the best you can. Bribing teachers with gifts will not make them like you any less/more. Remember that teachers are people too, and sometimes people just don't like each other. Whether a teacher likes you or not should not affect how the teacher does their job or how you do yours. In the work place, you certainly can't expect for your bosses to always like you.

Instead of trying to be the best student in their eyes try to figure out why you have the need to be better than everyone else. There are issues you need to work out if you want to grow up to be a healthy and happy person.

As a former teacher, gifts didn't sway me at all. Helping a teacher by helping them keep the classroom neat and clean, participating in class and being a class leader is all a teacher can ask for.

Just try, most teachers are happy when students put forth honest efforts and really try to learn what is being taught.
