My mom swears by plain baking soda and water. It works on stainless steel sinks and pots and pans and stuff. As far as grease.....well, a good "de-greaser" such as BAM or KABOOM. I got something at Home Depot that worked pretty well on a lot of surfaces. It's called Crud Cutter. Good Luck!

There are actually different grades of "stainless steel". If the iron content is high the stainless will be magnetic. This is actually a poorer quality stainless than a non-magnetic grade. There are also many appliances now that have cold rolled steel with a "stainless" paint. These are not stainless steels at all. They only have the look of stainless. Also there are some stainless steel appliances that have stainless panels covered by a clear coat paint to prevent finger prints. This is a easy way to tell if it is stainless...if you put your finger on a clean area of the panel if it is stainless it will show your fingerprint on the stainless. If it is painted or clearcoated your fingerprint will not be as visible. Stainless cleaners should not be used on clearcoat or the painted panels. Avoid using regular cleaners, especially any that contain chlorine, on stainless. These will corrode the stainless. Yes, stainless does corrode, and some grades even rust quite easily.

a sturdy de-greasing cleansing soap, a pad of steel wool, some warm water, and elbow grease will do the interest. Or in case you have certainly one of those steamer gadgets, that is going to rather much soften off. And as quickly as you have them wiped sparkling up, somewhat Bon Ami and a scouring pad used at times will ward off the develop from returning. yet another sturdy product is Twenty Mule group Borax regularly got here across close to the laundry products.
