out how to get into the funeral directory business?. as far as I no there are no schools. do they have apprentacies or any other way to get in the business?

No schools? There are schools in almost every single state. Go to www.mortuaryschools.com, it has a complete listing of every mortuary school in the country. You must attend mortuary school (usually to get an associate's degree) then you must serve an internship in the state you wish to be licensed. The only way into the business is to get licensed.

Check the local colleges! I had a friend at my university who studied Pre-Mortuary science.
