I've heard women say because "it only takes a second to put it down", "it is common courtesy" or "leaving it the way they found it". Ok well if it only takes a second to put it down, wouldn it not only take a second for women to put it down? If it's common courtesy, then wouldn't it be common courtesy for women to put it up for men? Leaving it the way they found it, what if it was up when they went in there? Ultimately the point all comes back to the first statement, it only takes a second. Am I to believe that women sit on a toilet without looking all the time? That that one second it takes to put it down could mean wether they need to change their drawers or not? Am I to believe that women don't pay attention to details?

I'm thinkin you are single and never have had the pleasure of hearing a woman go off at two in the morning after sitting down in the dark. Not a pleasant experience. Best to just put it down and be done with it

I don't give a damn if my hubby leaves the toilet seat up, and I certainly don't b*tch about it to him like I'm his mother. If I go into the bathroom and the seat is up, I'm smart enough to put it down myself. Some high maintenance women make a big deal out of something so stupid.
