Jenny, Cynthia, Jackee, Melissa, Misty, Christy... There are all sorts of names to choose from. I sugjest you go to an online baby name book and look at what were the most popular names 13 years ago (when your carachter would have been born) Then you can choose a name from that list with a meaning that fits your carachters personality!

**Evil Spoon! You copy cat!**

Amelie; Oenone (Noni for short); Suzette; Emma; Leilani; Babette; Christa; Belle; (or Christabelle); Fleur; Sofia;

I think you're looking for something very very pretty and a bit, darling, if you know what I mean. Like a person who everyone likes. I would suggest something a bit wistful and vaguely French. Especially names ending in the "y" or "ie" (eee) sound as they sound a bit more like cute girlie nicknames. I had a great character called Paris, some people called her "Paz" for short (not many people!). Her real, full name was Paradise but she wasn't a girlie girl so she called herself Paris. Then that socialite b***h came along and I couldn't use the name anymore coz whenever they heard the name "Paris" they thought of her. I like to give my characters as much background story as possible, even if it's not relevant to the plot. I just think the more you get to know your characters the better you understand them and when it comes to a point where they need to make a decision about something, you are familiar with them and thier personalities so its much easier.

Please let me know how you got on.

She sounds alot like my grand-daughter, and her name is Victoria. She's a very pretty, outgoing, out-spoken, fun loving girl of 11. We do not shorten it to Vicki or Tori or anything, it's always Victoria.

If your main character happens to be of hispanic heritage, how about naming her Rosa Maria. I have a cousin that is named that way; and belive me, NO ONE FORGETS HER NAME.

Alma. It's very nice. In Spanish it means "soul" and in Hebrew "young girl, virgin." The name I will pick when I will have a daughter.
