i think that would really help. it shows that you are concerned about the child's needs, that no one had to make you take responsibility. it would also protect you in the future from having to pay back child support.
there are alot of fathers that don't want to pay at all. it is nice to know that there are fathers that willing put the child's needs first.
good luck.

Okay, now, how is the father putting himself on child support?
Is the father the NCP (non custodial parent) and asking the court to institute a child support amount? Or is the father filing for child support for himself because he is raising the child.
If the former, then you could make an argument that by doing this you are making sure the child is getting what he needs. This is also real smart for making sure that the unofficial "child support" doesn't shirks up and up and up, with the cp finally going to court and claiming she never got any in the first place.
If the latter, then you need to file two documents: one is an order of custody and the other is an order for support. Even though people will tell you that they are separate issues, each depends upon the other.

definite, yet no longer pondering that he's no longer the daddy. He can lie and say that his earnings won't enable him to pay newborn help. If he has documentation affirming that he would not make any funds or adequate funds, then the courts could have their palms tied. the different element to endure in innovations is that besides the undeniable fact that that's court docket ordered, he will possibly no longer make the money. And definite, they are able to get away with that till the guidelines substitute. My mom raised 3 little ones (from a various father than mine) with in simple terms receiving a cost as quickly as a twelve months. This grow to be barely adequate to maintain the courts from submitting non-cost fees against him; while they might start up the lawsuits he might make a cost and the lawsuits may well be cancelled! It did no longer look to be counted that he grow to be over $12,000 in arrears. in simple terms be careful to no longer anticipate the examine each month! whether he does persist with by way of with a court docket order, there are consistently some gliches. He could desire to be laid off, the youngster help platforms could desire to get not on time with processing, something could desire to take place. solid success and that i'm hoping you adult adult males are able to come again to an argreement outdoors of court docket (yet subsidized by utilising the court docket) because usually looks to paintings out for the suited.

Paying for the kids you helped create does not make you a better person. It is your job to pay for those kids. Just because you volunteered to pay rather than waiting for the paperwork to be filed doesn't mean anything. If you are a good person who loves your kids and doesn't have a huge criminal record or anything like that you should be granted joint custody. Courts like when fathers want to be involved. If you want to spend time with your kids then that is enough.

It may show that you are willing to care for your children if you dont have to be chased down for child support. Whatever amount you pay, pay regular, pay on time, and for G sakes, pay with a CHECK. Documents are key. Never use cash for anything.

Child Support becomes a completely separate issue and is generally not brought up. You could say that you are financially stable-- and have not shirked your parental abligations.

Good luck.

How does one put himself on child support? You do understand that child support is only for children, yes? Or are you saying that the father is himself a minor and entitled to support from his own father?
