If it's a choice between suffering a horribly painful death or just going to sleep then yes. If that person has the clarity of mind to decide on their own not to suffer, I think it's their right as long as they make the decisions on their own. But of course suicide is a sin and murder is murder so what can you do?

I think they have the choice to stop treatment, but as far as human euthanasia...the thought doesn't sit completely right with me. I might feel different though, if I were in a situation where I had a terminal illness and was just suffering too much to bear it. I think the quality of life for the person should be zero before considering something like that.

I don't think we could possibly answer truthfully unless we were in that situation. We always say what we think we would do, or what we wish could be done, or what we think is socially correct.
I think there are some things that we just don't know the answer to until we are put in that situation.
Pain and suffering is an awful thing to watch....yet....we put our loved ones thru it because we do not want to let go of them....we are selfish people when it comes to death.

I do not think it is right for Euthanasia to be made lawfull.
How many times have doctors told people their loved ones are going to die and they do not. It would be wrong in every possible way.
So i disagree with you on both points.
