yes, my hair gel prevents that. Who came up with that saying anyway? Was there a time in life when everyone wore their hair up in a ponytail... "No we must not let our hair down! oh c'mon it's okay just let your hair down sally.. go crazy, let loose baby, let your hair down. oh really you think I should? well... maybe i could just a little.. oh my god... WOW This is so great, i can't help myself. I think I will let ALL of my hair down! woooo!!!! everyone should try this! it's so amazing!"
Must have been enough people doing it to constitute a cliche.

Nope :p I'm pretty laid back, but really serious about skl. I don't have the patience to put my hair up that much.
