There is a certain point on a hill in a place in Kenya near its capital where water when poured, it flow up hill instead of flowing down hill. The norm would be for it to flow down hill due to the action of gravity on the weight of this water. What would be the cause of such a behaviour.
Coincidently, there is another point near the rift valley in Kenya where cars are found to accelarate themselves uphill, what would cause such a mysterious force.

DEAR

SAME KIND OF PHENOMENON IS FOUND IN LEH HEIGHTS IN JAMMU & KASHMIR STATE OF INDIA.
IT IS DUE TO THE MAGNETIC PULL AT THAT PARTICULAR AREA
PLAUSIBLE REASON IS THE PRESENCE OF A GREAT MAGMA CHAMBER BENEATH THE SURFACE.

Does it? I mean, does it happen? I have never been to the places you mentioned, but I have seen water in many places, and it always flows downhill. There is a general principle in physics that physical laws are universal, that is, that they are the same from place to place and from time to time. It would be a real coup if this principle turned out to be false. I would doubt such a story without some pretty good proof. And, consider that if there isn't anything special about the water, then everything in that area would also 'go uphill', gravity would be reversed. And if it was, how did the hill get there? Wouldn't the hill just float away? And if it rains there, wouldn't the hill be underwater from all the rain that collected on the top of it? I'm sure you can come up with other things that should follow if the story were true. I'd tend to think someone made a mistake or was trying to fool someone.

THese are optical illusions.

That simply means that the water, etc is really flowing downhill, but the surronding topography makes it look as though it's flowing uphill.

There in an area in eastern Canada called Magnetic Hill. It has the same type of optical illusion as that one in the rift valley in Kenya.

There aren't many such locations in the world, so that makes them seem all that much more mysteries. But the laws of gravity, etc still very much apply.

From New York Times:

"There are dozens of such mysterious places and legends around the country and the world. A partial list includes the Bermuda Triangle and sites called Gravity Hill, Anti-Gravity Hill, Spook Hill and Confusion Hill. Many of the mysteries at such sites have been debunked as the result of fraud or optical illusion, although the debunking apparently does little to deter tourism, lively debates and a deep fascination with such ''X-Files''-style attractions. Because you are looking at the hill and not at the angle of the flow, and same thing with car. This is called optical illusion
