OK grandpa married my grand ma when he was 19
and she was 13. He was in the army in W W 11
and that was normal , Today if a man was to marry
a girl that young he would be put in jail and stoned to death
so how was it OK then but kill stat now ???

What is inappropiate: if he is hitting on 13 girls today/now/recently at his age and trying to meet 13 year old girls online and trying to meet them .....then you have a pervert.

Life expectancy wasn't as long as it is now,so people married young.Less stigma with a older man marrying a much younger women.

damn thats odd, but not really> If u conclude that notion is fact,"Grandpa A pervert", then i guess my uncle falls in the same category. He married at age 40, to my aunt 19....Wat do u think of that?

Because in those days men actually fell in love... not lust.
Today a guy 19 lust after a 13 yr old kid. Then it becomes perversion.

look at the singer Jerry Lee Lewis who married his 13yr old cousin.....he was criticized for that...but did it anyway. Also, back then people didn't worry about rape, pedophiles, and such as we do now....alot has changed
