My wife wanted a divorce even though I didn't really want one. We don't have any kids so after the divorce we went our seperate ways. She is in a new relationship and I date casually. I have no hard feelings even though I didn't want the divorce. We hardly ever see each other but when we do she is really bitchy. She wasn't even this bad when we were married. It's like she hates me even more now. What do you think her problem is?

We argued all of the time over little stuff. There was no cheating at least as far as I know. I tried to talk her out of the divorce but realized it was useless. My attitude then changed to okay lets get this over with and we can both go our own way.

Without knowing any of the problems in the relationship it would be hard for me to give an answer to that one. What were her reasons for wanting a divorce in the first place. Possibly she is angry that she married you only to find out you were not what she had expected and then had to disrupt her life with a divorce and start all over again. Ask the question again with more detail to get better answers.

Don't feel to bad. There are many women that want a man do be what they want them to be. If you aren't successful enough, or they don't feel like you did enough for them, they begin to resent you because of the amount of time they spent on you. They begin to really despise you that you didn't meet their high expectations. This explains why SHE wanted the divorce. You probably already know this, but are hoping that there is another reason fearful that you might be a failure or a wuss. Your not. You just got mixed up with a dominant overbearing person who's parents cherished accomplishment over love and happiness.

I wonder if her problem was not that she wanted a divorce but instead she want your attention. Women are filing for divorce twice as much as men. The #1 reason given irreconcilable differences which means she is feeling neglected. So when she left and you didn't self destruct it made her angry.

I imagine she'd feel like the time was wasted. Obviously, I don't know the details of your relationship, but I think I'd be bummed that my young, hot body was gone and I was out there on the scene again after the failure of what you probably thought was a sure thing. It is hard to look back at failures of any kind. Your fault, or hers, pain is there. Good luck.

She lost control of you. She wants it back.
You are doing the right thing move on and put here behind you.
I have an ex like that and the only reason why I contact her is because we have 1 child between us to take care of but when he reaches 19. It is over.
Please don't go back for any reason because it is trap you will regret.

Ok maybe I should change my icon to some picture of me modeling too, like these other people lol.
Anyways.. women are crazy. It is that whole the grass is greener on the other side thing. She is mad because you are all nonchalant that you aren't together. She wants you to be jealous and unhappy. Just don't talk to the crazy lady.

Prolly the guilt of cheating on you tearing her up on some subconsious level.
It sounds like you will be better off in the long run.

She is placing unrealistic expectations on you to either figure out why she's mad, or to show that you care about her. She may feel that by you being friendly, you could walk away from the relationship easily.

i think because you're dating and you look as if you have moved on that's the reason. i think she wants you to sit and cry and get depressed over her. but because you're not doing that she's bitchy and she gets the feeling that, well i guess he just wanted a divorce to move on with his life. she wants you to moan over her. but the truth is she hasn't moved on. it's killing her inside because she doesn't want you to move on.
