There are a few people that I've made major differences in their lives. Anything from reuniting a friend with his parents after 4 years of not speaking, to helping another friend out with fears of loosing everyone and everything showing him that he's not alone, to helping a friend laugh and smile, feeling good about himself after so long to proving to my mom that no matter what, I'm always by her side no matter what, giving her the confidence that I am loyal to her after a really bad incident with her closest sister that left her in tears! Everyone does these sorta things, just don't know that they're doing them. I always try to be there for people, do what I can because you never know, you could be the last person to keep them "alive"

We took one of our daughters in to our home long enough for her to get back on her feet. I also helped a couple that had no idea how to buy a home come up with creative ways to finance the home. ( I am not a banker or real estate agent) I also have volunteered in order to raise money for the low income school in our county. My husband and I have done work for free to help people with health issues that caused sever pain. We threw a fund raising dinner to help a mother and child that were losing everything because the mother had been in a car accident and was unable to work for 6 months. I flew to the other coast took 2 weeks off from work to care for 3 grand children so our daughter could get her real estate license. We threw a surprise birthday party for a Friend who was caring for her mother who had cancer. It was a way for her friends a rally around her. We provided jobs for 4 people that could not find employment. As a surprise we built an art studio for one of our tenants to support her art. Of course all these people enriched our lives and made a difference.

1) I married my husband. Although I never changed his personality, I've made him eat better, exercise more, and keep his mood honest.
2) My family--love them or hate them, they are mine. I think through the years I've really helped my mother work through her problems with HER mother!!
3) A stranger--he was a waiter at Red Lobster working of $6/hour. He lived 30 minutes away, and his newborn son in the NICU was 45 minutes away. We pooled our money together to help him as best we could--our son was in the NICU for 17 days, never required a surgery, and was covered by a nice insurence, and it still cost $80,000. I like to think that we gave him a little hope, especially in a bleak situation.

By meeting them. Everyone learns something from everyone they meet. So just by meeting someone you change that persons life.
Whether it's good or bad. We all learn from our relationships.
