Homosexuality is not a disease nor a "sin" as many people consider it. It is a personal preference and a lifestyle choice, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

The Bible would not call homosexuality an abomination, it calls having intercourse with male temple prostitutes (a prepare of the religions of different gods) an abomination. The sin is having different gods in the previous Yahweh. Nowhere does the two testomony condemn the state of being gay. yet i admire the Christian copout that it is not Leviticus they're following, yet passages from the hot testomony. The NT prohibitions are grounded in Leviticus, so as that are condemning homosexuality in line with a faux impact of Leviticus, then ignoring the different extra advantageous than 600 commandments that they do unlike. Bur, on the grounds that Christianity immediately could be Salad Bar Christianity (even Catholicism - basically check out the hot "sins" that the Pope invented), what else can all and sundry assume. The Bible isn't a e book to stay via, it somewhat is a e book used to justify doing what human beings want to do.

Learn to spell. Homosexuality is a minor character deviation that requires no further scrutiny. Too often one short passage of Leviticus is used out of context by Christians in a contorted effort to control scripture for the furtherment of their own agenda. Back in the day Moses was leading his people who for generations knew nothing but slavery through pagan lands where Molech was the issue at hand. These pagans had rituals of sacrifice and ritualistic sex practices and statue worship et al that G-d did not want the people to emulate.

Those who use "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman" are picking and choosing small portions of the entire text to fit their agenda. It needs to be looked at in its entirety in order to be properly used. When done so it becomes clear that G-d is warning against ritualistic sexual proclivity to honor false gods. This is furthered by no mention whatsoever of lesbians but bushels and bushels of admonishments and rules of engagement concerning heterosexual relationships.

No, gay is not a disease. You can't catch gay.

I can't believe I am even typing an answer to this question. geez. I agree with the person that said if homosexuality is a disease, then so is your bad spelling. I personally think i was born this way. not everyone can be the same. And not only that. not everyone can be intelligent.

It's not disease, sin, or even a mental illness. Oh and just to let everyone knows I've been openly out for a while now and I'm still a virgin, by choice. Nothing wrong with wanting your first time to be special. All it is is a sexual preference and there's nothing wrong with it.

No it's not a disease, nor is bisexuality nor heterosexuality. Transgenderism, it could be argued, is a disease but only because the transgender person is not at ease with the body they inhabit. Also note that Transgenderism can be "cured" by extensive surgery - (to make the body fit), whereas hetero-, homo- and bisexuality cannot be altered.

I really wished you would learn half proper english so I can half understand you better. Geezus what is this world coming to.

If you mean you like girls and guys that means you're bisexual and I think you meant to say the word "disease". No its not a disease just religious fanatics and homophobic people still telling you its a disease.

No, not a disease but being more open to possibilities or at very least having a well-developed aesthetic sense free of societal pressures and prejudices.

Analogy: I like jazz, rock, country and classical music. Is that a disease?

homosexuality is nothing more than a genetic variation...like skin, hair or eye color. It's been decades since it was considered a "mental illness" as intelligent, un-biased psychiatrists realized it is not. those who believe it is are people who've been raised to fear anyone/anything that is different. Instead of trying to get to know us, or learn anything about us, they believe in lies, generalizing stereotypes and assumptions. it's pretty sad, really.
