In itunes, there's a settings button down towards the left, or in the edit menu there is a preferences option. They both bring up the same box. In that box, under "Podcasts", I would like to change "keep" to "all unplayed episodes". But then there is no way to "apply" the setting once it's changed. You can only close the box, which reverts the choice back to "all episodes". Some of my podcasts update every day, so it's becoming an unmanageable clutter on the nano. Apple Help is nonexistent. Any insight? It is not a matter of just deleting the item from the playlist. It doesn't work that way for podcasts.

Thank you ActD, but where are you finding "OK"?

hmmm, limmi, should I report you for "chatting and personal communication"? Or maybe "Not a question or an answer"? " perhaps "insulting other participants"? Hard to decide, you violated in so many ways.

at the bottom of the preferences pane, after you choose 'Keep all unplayed episodes" click 'OK' and it should save your settings when the window closes. do not close the window w/the 'X' it essentially does the same as 'Cancel'.
