Really...hmmm...isn't there more you could do for your spouse, that you are not doing because it takes away from "your" time...and is just something you don't want to do?
For me it's laundry! Yep, I try to do better next year...no no I mean starting now :-).

When I said unconditional, that is what I meant. You can do and do and do fo rthe other...but NEVER do so with the ulterior motive of somehow getting something in return. This is why I think 50% of folks divorce...they have marriage all backwards. MARRIAGE SHOULD BE ALL ABOUT GIVING TO ONE ANOTHER...PERIOD.

I do all the cooking and cleaning in the house. my wife dose not do anything but pays the bill and do laundry some time. the main reason i do all the cooking and clean is I'm home more then she is she work long hours and i take care of the house and kid. and i think it fair that i do that but there are time i wish she would do some of the work.

yes I know there is more I could do but I guess I'm spoiled. Though I do hold a full time job, no kids at home but I take care of about 90% of the housework. He works more hours than me but will do something if i ask. He does his own laundry, etc, usually cleans his own bathroom, will go grocery shopping if I ask.

Good for you with the laundry! Here's a tip, you clean the bathroom, yes including the toilet, and you'll be on the top of her list.

I give it my all in every aspect. She doesn't do squat. I rebel and she walks out. It does no good to bend over backwards to make someone happy. It doesn't pay.
