I am 21 and about to graduate in May 2007 with a degree in Finance. I want to pursue a law degree part time after I graduate while also working full time. I have one semester of university left, from February to May. My problem is that it is hard to find jobs that offer 9-5 hours that will give me enough time to complete law school well. So far, I have interviewed for some management positions at financial institutions and an industrial firm, but so far no takers. I have pretty decent grades, but I have no extracurriculars other than working many hours in retail each week for three years. I have not been able to find any government positions. I can't go to law school full-time for financial reasons. What can I do, besides getting a Notary Public, to boost up my resume and credentials? What positions fit my needs and how can I find them? I sincerely thank you for helping me on this important matter.

You might try looking at banking or insurance companies. Also you might try some of the larger law firms in your area. Once you are accepted into the law program, legal firms might hire you to work as a paralegal. One might see what on campus work opportunities are available. Good Luck

You might consider "substitute teaching." All school districts (at least in the US) require a stand-by list of teachers who can come in and cover for sickness, vacation, etc. You do not have to have an actual teaching degree in cases like this, in most states. You need a degree, but you have one.
You are paid a decent per diem for this work, and it would leave your evenings free to pursue your law studies.
God speed!!
