from someone in my office that it is legal to shoot someone in maine if they catch you stealing from your lobster farm? Is this true?

Well apparently Maine has a lot of problems with Lobster thief's...
So I think the farmers should have the right to protect their property...

yes it is legal if this standard is met. look at the lobsters. do any of the lobsters need stealing?. if not you may shoot
