LG Chocolate KG800 Problem?

Question

I got a new lg chocolate kg800 for xmas i love it and i picked it cause it has an mp3 player .
but i plug it in the usual stuff for mp3 comes up play or view files etc ,so i view files and then press my documents at the side.I go into my music downloads n put songs onto my kg800 because it says it is under removable disc in the booklet so i put music onto it mp3 music .i take the usb out n check if the music there its not but when i plug into the pc it says my phone has music on it.

SO how do i put music on it
