Since your a kid I will tell you what I set up for the kids to do at our New Years bash. I set up a table of food just for them (pigs n a blanket, chips and dips, pop, cupcakes, veggies and ranch, candy) I get party hats and party favors for them. I then set out tables with card games, board games, and art stuff. Through out the night adults check in on the kids and award prizes for winning games. (money, toys, gift cert. for fast food) and at midnight the kids all get a plastic champagne glass with sparkling grape juice in it to toast like mom and dad do. Then everyone (kids and adults) head out side and pop a few firecrackers to celebrate. I have done this every year for the last four years, we are up to 35 adults and around 50 kids. I don't go out to the bars and neither do our friends. SO this is our alternative. Plus most of the adults only have one drink and a toast at midnight, so it is just more fun. The kids have an area and the adults have an area. Good luck

I'm a kid here too. On New Years Eve I love to watch the celebrations in New York on TV. I also like to watch the college football games. Also going ice skating on New Years Eve is so much fun. Last year we set fireworks off but you shouldn't do that unless you are in a state that permits it and you should let an experienced adult do it. That might not be the best idea. I love going to the downtown of my city and watching the fireworks. If you try some of those you might have some fun.

See if you can have a couple of friends over to watch movies or play games. Serve something a little out of the ordinary. Get some sparkling grape juice (the kind that looks like it comes in wine bottles) to toast in the new year. I used to do that as a kid and had a lot of fun with it. One year a friend's mom even made us virgin strawberry daiquiris.

Buy a fondue pot (or a couple, depending on how many friend you want to join you, or depending on what you want to serve) at your local Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Linens and Things, Crate and Barrel (a lot of places sell them these days), and have a fondue dinner. They are fun, different, and a great social meal. Depending on your age, you may need to get your parents to help you. I started having fondue parties when I was in high school, though, with my mom's help, I certainly could have done them at a younger age. Fondue is fun and chances are very few (if any) of your friends will have done fondue before.

Grab 12 grapes and just before the clock announces that it is midnight, eat the grapes one by one, this will give you good luck for the next 12 months of the new 2007 year...and it's fun.

Eat as many pineapple dutch doughnut's as possible. They are absolutely delicious. Here's how to make them:

With this modification: ditch the apples. Use a fork to pinch pineapple discs and let it go through the mixture, then put it in the oil. Now just pursue your mummy to make them.

Or do a computer game. Secondlife.com or whatever...

I like to hang out with a group of friends. I'm going over to my friends house and we're going to scrapbook all night long. Also try having a sleepover. If you don't like scrapbooking try a different craft that you and your friends like.
