Don't major only in biology. It is easier than the other sciences but chemistry, physics and biochemistry will prepare you better for the MCAT. So try chemistry, physics or biochemistry with a minor in biology or double major. Research the med schools you want to go to and check against the curricula for your major(s). You can take prereqs for med school as electives if not required by your curriculum. Even if you don't go to med school, you could still get a really good paying job right out of college instead of being a lab tech.
Did you know that you don't necessarily have to graduate from college to go to med school as long as you have the prerequisites and pass the MCAT?
Did you know that there are schools with accelerated BS/MD programs that allow you to get BOTH degrees in 6 years? (I know people who have done it and they were doctors at like 25 years old).

A "Pre Med" discipline such as
Biology
Biochemistry
Biophysics
Then you go to Med School for 4 years. Intern for 1 year. Then you apply for and find a Residenceship in Oby/Gyn and do that for at least 2 years. 4 to 5 years if you want to take the Certification Board and eventually become FACS down the line.
2 Years in Ob/Gyn is generally enough to go into practise, but if you inted to do C Sections I'd do at least 3 years in Ob/Gyn or General Surgery.
If you're goiong to do 3 years might as well do 4 and get Board certfieid.

You will end up going to medical school. Undergraduate programs that best prepare you for that are Pre-med (if offered), Anatomy, and Biology. I'd choose two and go for a double-major. If you can't get through a double-major program, you probably won't be able to hack med school. I wish you luck!
