I learned a technique when I had severe insomnia that helped. You start with your head and go down, flexing EVERY single muscle for 5-10 seconds. The idea is that this will relieve the tension in the muscles and relaxing them will relax you. I also have a sound maker set on rain, I think the constant sound of it really helps keep me asleep. Instead of lying awake focusing on to do lists, I can focus on the sound and it puts me right to sleep. Good luck

I've had a equivalent trouble to this, no longer as dangerous, however dozing problems none the less. I propose that you simply maybe are trying taking a slumbering capsule for just a few nights or a week or so, simply to try and get your sound asleep patterns back to normal. A different inspiration is, do not freak out about looking to sleep. When I used to be having napping problems, i would definitely loathe bedtime; it intended I had to lie in bed for hours, no longer able to sleep. Try to stay at ease and most likely do some relaxation workout routines earlier than you sleep. Once I say 'leisure workouts', i don't mean whatever heavy yoga or some thing but just like deep respiration and a relaxing tub (or bathe) before bed. I did all these things, along with making certain I used to be the correct temperature, and i am simply first-rate now. Being overtired like that's horrible, don't worry i do know. I hope I've helped a bit and that your competent to solve this :)

Yes, this is a really effective way that has benefited many people. Yoga practices can give you a safe, natural and permanent cure. There are many types of yoga so you have to know which one teaches the best method for relaxation and sound sleep. What prevents us from sleeping is an overactive mind which we cannot switch off. Anyone can quickly learn meditation and mind quieting and stilling techniques. The best yoga for this is Siddha Yoga as taught by it's founder Swami Muktananda, a wonderful inspired and greatly respected teacher. I learned in one class attendance how to still my mind and that resolved my sleeping problem. There are Siddha Yoga meditation centers all over the world and you can find out more online. I urge you to try this natural and really beneficial solution. You will be glad you did. If you email me(see my profile) I can give you titles of publications and books by Swami Muktananda that would be good to start with. I wish you the best

i've got had an analogous issue to this, no longer as undesirable, yet dozing issues none the fewer. I advise which you in line with possibility attempt taking a dozing pill for some nights or a week or so, just to attempt and get your dozing types back to favourite. yet another theory is, do no longer freak out approximately attempting to sleep. whilst i replaced into having dozing issues, i could genuinely detest bedtime; it meant I had to lie in mattress for hours, no longer able to sleep. attempt and stay comfortable and in all possibility carry out a little rest workouts before you sleep. as quickly as I say 'rest workouts', i do no longer mean something heavy yoga or something yet in simple terms like deep respiratory and a chilled tub (or bathe) before mattress. I did a majority of those issues, alongside with making optimistic i replaced into the main concepts-blowing temperature, and that i'm in simple terms advantageous now. Being overtired like it extremely is terrible, do no longer hassle i be attentive to. i'm hoping i've got helped a splash and that your able to unravel this :)

I know these sound stupid, but they work for me. Seriously.
How I get to sleep if I can't is put pillows on either side of my body to hold me still and sleep on my side, hugging one of the pillows. I wear jammies that don't restrict my movements, like shorts and a t-shirt. I put one pillow on my head and imagine it's my mother's hand and I'm a little baby.
If that still doesn't work, I imagine that God is holding me in His hand.
The body scan is good too if my mind is racing: I tell each part of my body that it is relaxed. "Feet, relax. Feet, you are relaxed." And take a breath between each.

If you have any psychological problem like fear, tension etc. please be bold. No tension or fear even if death is in front of you.
Purchase a medium size round magnet. keep it under your neck with its S pole touching your neck. You will sleep within 10 minutes. Ask your family members/friends to remove the magnet after you have gone in sound sleep.
Don't keep magnet near heart or brain. It will create problems.
If you believe in God, then go with recitation of his name, prayers while on bed till you fell asleep. Only His name is very effective.

There is one techinque that i use, it's very simple. Take 3 extremely deep breaths in and out. I mean til you can't inhale/exhale any more, then a bit more. This is very cleansing and suprisingly effective at clearing out all the daily junk that accumulates in my brain.

Yes yes, do those silly breathing things. By all means. But exercise will wear you out while doing your body good and help you sleep. Trust me.
