I love both creatures. They both will make you feel happy when you are depressed and can be life-long friends. Cats are more independent and clean, which I admire, while you can have a fun time playing and teaching your dog new things. Studies show that have any pet can increase your health. I am neither a cat or dog person. I am an all creature person.

I have both cats and dogs. I would have to say I'm a dog person. Cats don't seem to have as much "heart" as a dog does. I love my cats dearly, but dog seems to be more of a "friend" and that's what I like the most.

I love dogs and cats, but I lean towards a cat person. I own a huge collie and a tiny tabbie. Cats are very clean clever. They seem to have more personallity. Dogs seem to be more simular to each other. Like if you go to someones house and they say they have a cat you never know what to expect.

For all those who say dogs are more intelligent.
I have just found the following question in the DOG-department:

Can my dog get sick when eating her feces?

my dog just had liver shunt surgery 7 weeks ago and is recovering very well, however she is now eating her feces(poo)...how does this can affect her recovery??can she get sicker from this?I have to keep a wee wee pad for her when I go out, because she is still taking lactulose(slowly getting out of it).she is also on potassium bromide, because she developed seizures before ths surgery and after the surgery, she looks very hungry all the time, she is on a low protein diet...prescrp.k/d,,, Any advice or suggestions???

Well, I think this about answers the question as to intelligence!!!
